How do I draw planter beds and other spaces in my Visual Design?
Use the Draw Tool to add mulch, turf, rock, and other groundcovers to your design.
The Draw Tool enables you to add mulch, turf, rock, and other groundcovers to a SimplyScapes design.
Steps to add an area

Select the Draw Tool located in the bottom left corner of the screen

(Optional) Choose a material for the space you're creating

Select a draw mode. Three options are available:
- Pen: Draw the shape point-by-point. Recommended for elaborate, detailed shapes.
- Rectangle: Draw the shape as a rectangle. Recommended for simple shapes with straight edges, or used in combination with follow-up edits.
- Ellipse: Use this to draw circular shapes.
