Labs Preview
Estimate is a very early SimplyScapes Labs preview. The screens, document relationships, and saved information can change or be reset while this area is developed.
The Estimate tab is the future home for the commercial documents connected to a job:
- Estimate — describes the proposed scope and price before the customer agrees to the work.
- Proposal / Agreement — presents the offer to the customer and records the accepted or signed scope.
- Change order — records an approved addition, reduction, or other change to the agreed scope and price.
- Invoice — requests payment for completed work or an agreed billing stage.
- Deposit request — asks for money due before work begins or before a later stage proceeds.
- Payment record — records money received and the invoice or deposit request it applies to.
For now, use this area to understand and test the intended workflow. Keep final customer and accounting records in your existing system.
