How do I create a new Site Plan?
Create a Site Plan from a job's property address and open an aerial view with the measurement tools ready.
Every workspace can create one Site Plan for each job after Labs has been enabled. Professional workspaces can also start from the standalone Site Plans list.
Steps to create a Site Plan
- Open Home in a Homeowner workspace or Jobs in a Professional workspace.
- Open the job for the property.
- Select the Design phase.
- Add or confirm the job's property address.
- In the Site Plan area, click Create.
- The Site Plan opens with the property's aerial background and measurement tools.
Available background
Site Plans currently start from a job's property address. Starting from an uploaded image or PDF, or from a blank background, is unavailable.
Give the job and property clear names so the Site Plan is easy to find later. Professional workspaces can also find it in the standalone Site Plans list.
How do I access Site Plans?
Open a Site Plan from a job in any SimplyScapes workspace, or use the standalone Site Plans list in a Professional workspace.
How do I draw and measure areas?
Draw shapes around lawns, beds, and hardscape to calculate square footage automatically, with pen, freehand, rectangle, and ellipse tools in a site plan.
