How do I add and manage team members?

Professional and Education workspaces include a Manage people area through SimplyScapes Labs. A workspace owner or administrator must enable Labs before the area appears.

Invite people

1. Open the Professional or Education workspace you want to manage.
2. If needed, open Designs and enable Labs from the invitation. Read and accept the Labs notice.
3. In the sidebar, click Manage people.
4. Click Invite People.
5. Enter one or more email addresses. You can also add an optional note for the invitation email.
6. Read and select the Labs acknowledgement in the dialog.
7. Send the invitation.

Each person receives an email with a link to join. New invitees join as Members. The People area shows both current members and pending invitations, and lets an admin resend or cancel a pending invitation.

Roles

• Owner has full control of the workspace, including billing and ownership.
• Admin can manage people and work throughout the workspace.
• Member can see and edit every job in the workspace but cannot manage people or billing.

An owner or admin can promote a Member to Admin, change an Admin back to Member, or remove someone. Ownership transfer is a separate owner action.

Team membership is scoped to one workspace. If someone needs access to another workspace, invite them there separately.

Inviting people to an Education workspace

Every Education invitation batch also requires an unchecked affirmation immediately above Send invitations. You confirm that you are authorized to invite these people and that any student included is eligible and at least 13 years old. Changing the recipients or attempting to send resets the checkbox. Valid invitations can send immediately after the required affirmations.

SimplyScapes does not verify student ages. Students receive access through their school, and new invitees use the normal Member role.
